- in a med. mixing bowl, mix dough mix with dry seasonings. then 1 cup warm water or however pkg suggests
- let rest n raise 5 mins. while Prep pans n surfaces.. I use flour and wax paper. Can use / make either 12inch round or about 9x12 rectangle on a sheet pan.
- divide dough into 2. this dough is sticky so i usually Roll it out on floured wax paper either on my big cutting board or the back of a cookie sheet. the wax paper helps with flipping it over and also to square up the sides you just fold it over n it makes a nice even edge.
- once you have both rolled out evenly and the same size, set one aside to use for the top later. if using round pans, line one with wax paper then press the dough in then set it aside.
- start layering on your stuff. remember that anything too wet or greasy will make the dough crust soggy. like the shrooms n ham, i lay them out n press them between paper towels a bit first.
- fyi i have slight OCD so i make it all nice n neat n squared up but ... staying about 1 inch from edge of dough put on your first layer. I make a grid of olive halves then mushrooms slices or pieces in between them. then sprinkle on mozzarella cheese.
- then next layer on ham n maybe salami, then provolone cheese, then spread on a thin layer of pizza sauce. sprinkle on about 2-3 handfuls of crumbled hamburger then peppers maybe some onions. then top it off with a layer a pepperoni slices.
- your done. using ur fingers or a pastry brush, lightly wet the outside edge of dough. grab the other dough you rolled out n wet the outer inch of it too. then flip it on top of ur pile, line it up and press it making sure to press out as much air as you can, snug it over and down the sides. then peel off the wax paper if you haven't already.
- press the top edge into the bottom dough then fold Up the bottom dough to cover the seals. now here's the trick to why I make this ontop of my cutting board or use 2 pans .. your gonna flip it. So spray pan with cooking spray n lay it on top , then carefully lift the whole pile n flip it over. take off the cutting board or other pan, carefully peel off wax paper if u used it.. then you're ready to bake. 350° for about 30-45 minutes til nicely browned, carefully check the bottom is done but not burnt
- let it cool abit before serving. weither you made an 11ish inch round or a rectangle, you can cut into 4-6 serving, depending on how hungry your crew is lol. serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping.. Remember this is easily customized to ur own likings, use whatever filling stuff you want. Enjoy.
